Biography
Justin B. Cantwell joined Carnahan Evans PC in 2025 as a transactional and estate planning associate. He concentrates his practice of law in business, corporate, and estate planning by providing advice to clients on tax related issues and other considerations. Justin is a third-generation attorney practicing law in Southwest Missouri.
Prior to joining the firm, Justin practiced law in Southern California, where he assisted clients with business and real estate transactions, corporate formation and governance, and tax and estate planning.
Justin handles estate planning matters for individuals and families to help minimize estate and gift taxes. Justin helps clients choose corporate entities based on tax issues and other considerations. He also advises clients in creating purchase agreements, lease agreements, and finance agreements.
Before his legal career, Justin operated a wholesale business for over a decade. Through this experience, he developed a deep understanding of the practical realities of operating a business. Justin now brings this experience to his role as an advisor to clients who face these challenges.
