Brett Hodges Elected to Young Lawyers Council

Carnahan Evans is proud to announce that Brett A. Hodges, an associate attorney in the firm’s Transactional Practice Group, has been elected to represent District 11 on The Missouri Bar Young Lawyers’ Section (YLS) Council. District 11 encompasses Christian, Douglas, Greene, Howell, Ozark, Stone, Taney, Webster, and Wright counties.
The Young Lawyers’ Section works to facilitate the professional growth and public service of new and recently admitted Missouri lawyers. The YLS Council is comprised of approximately 35 lawyers from districts across the state who are elected by their peers to serve two-year terms.
Hodges, who joined Carnahan Evans in 2024, earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri School of Law and was admitted to The Missouri Bar the same year. In his new role, he will collaborate with other YLS Council members to enhance resources, engagement, and advocacy for young attorneys throughout the region.
“I feel incredibly privileged to represent the young lawyers of the southwest Missouri area. This area, along with the people in it, has been absolutely wonderful, and I cannot imagine a better place to have begun my career in law,” said Hodges.
The Missouri Bar featured Hodges in a recent announcement highlighting his background, goals, and vision for the YLS Council.
