After being recognized again in 2022 as one of U.S. News’ Best Law Firms in America, premier full-service business and estate planning law firm Carnahan, Evans, Cantwell & Brown decided it was time for a refresh, including a name change to Carnahan Evans. “We wanted to recognize our long tradition of providing premier tax advice and guidance to our business and estate planning clients, while paving some new pathways for legal services that we are expanding into,” said Christiaan Horton, shareholder.
New shareholders named
In addition to a rebrand, the firm also named Andrew T. Peebles and David K. Olive as shareholders. Peebles was recently recognized in the 2022 Best Lawyers in America: “Ones to Watch” list and as a 2021 Missouri and Kansas “Rising Stars” honoree for his work in trusts and estates law. Olive was recently recognized in the 2022 Best Lawyers in America: “Ones to Watch” list for his work in ERISA law.
Kirk A. Kaczmarek is an associate in the Litigation/Dispute Resolution and Transactional Practice Groups and represents business clients in state and federal court. Robert E. Petrowsky is an associate in the Estate Planning and Transactional Practice Groups and has extensive experience with complex business transactions. Robyn A. Horton is of counsel and concentrates in asset protection and estate planning, real estate, health and disability law, and support with business, civil litigation, and appeals.
