Springfield, Mo. – Carnahan, Evans, Cantwell & Brown, P.C. (“CECB”) is pleased to announce that five of its attorneys have been named by Missouri-Kansas Super Lawyers-Rising Stars magazine as five of the top attorneys in Missouri for 2009. Three attorneys, Clifford S. Brown, John M. Carnahan III and John E. Price were included on this year’s Missouri-Kansas Super Lawyers list and Rodney H. Nichols and Richard T. Ashe were included on the Missouri-Kansas Rising Stars list.
The selections for Super Lawyers are made by Law & Politics who undertake a rigorous multi-phase selection process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, independent evaluation of candidates by Law & Politics’ attorney-led research staff, a peer review of candidates by practice area, and a good-standing and disciplinary check. Only 5% of Missouri and Kansas attorneys are selected to the Super Lawyers list and no more than 2.5% of the attorneys in the state are named to the Rising Stars list.
