Clifford S. Brown Named in The American Lawyer’s The Best Lawyers in America
Clifford S. Brown, a shareholder of Carnahan, Evans, Cantwell & Brown, P.C. (CECB”), has been selected as one of the leading Trust and Estates attorneys in the country by The American Lawyer. Mr. Brown’s recognition will appear in the American Lawyer’s publication, The Best Lawyers in America for 2004-2005.
This is Mr. Brown’s 4th appearance in the yearly publication, designed to recognize the nation’s most respected attorneys in their individual practice areas. Mr. Brown has also been recognized in Who’s Who in American Law and was appointed by the Supreme Court to the Board of Law Examiners earlier this year.
Mr. Brown concentrates his practice in the areas of estate planning, probate, and trust litigation. He joined CECB in 1988. Mr. Brown earned his B.S. in Political Science and his J.D. from the University of Missouri – Columbia School of Law in 1965 and 1968, respectively.
CECB is a locally owned law firm formed in 1979 with emphasis in tax, estate planning, employee benefits, commercial litigation, environmental, probate, real estate, banking, corporate, zoning, franchise, and securities law. The firm currently has 15 attorneys and 26 other staff.
