Jay Preston Recognized as Up & Coming 2023 Law Firm Leader
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Carnahan Evans PC is pleased to announce that Missouri Lawyers Media recognized shareholder Jay Preston as a 2023 Up & Coming Law Firm Leader.
The Missouri Lawyers Media Up & Coming Awards recognize legal professionals 40 or younger, or within the first 10 years of practice, who fulfill both of the following criteria: (1) demonstrate a level of professional accomplishment, skill and leadership beyond their years (2) demonstrate an extraordinary commitment to the community through their volunteer service and leadership.
In addition, as part of the Up & Coming Awards, Missouri Lawyers Media confers the special honor as an Up & Coming Law Firm Leader, recognizing early-career professionals who hold important leadership positions at their firms.
Jay Preston is a shareholder in the Litigation/Dispute Resolution, Transactional, and Marijuana and Hemp practices groups of Carnahan Evans PC. Mr. Preston represents clients in civil litigation in both federal and state court focusing on business and real estate matters. Mr. Preston also assists clients in avoiding litigation through proper drafting of contracts/agreements, and counseling on how to deal with precarious situations.
