Springfield, Mo. — Carnahan, Evans, Cantwell & Brown, P.C. (CECB) is pleased to announce that five of its attorneys have been named, by Missouri-Kansas Super Lawyers magazine, as among the top attorneys in Missouri for 2017. John M. Carnahan, III; Joseph D. “Chip” Sheppard, III; Thomas D. Peebles, Jr.; and John E. Price were included on this year’s Missouri-Kansas Super Lawyers list. Megan E. McCullough was included on the Missouri-Kansas Rising Stars list.
The selections for the Super Lawyers list are made by the research team at Super Lawyers, which is a service of the Thomson Reuters Legal division. Each year, the research team at Super Lawyers undertakes a rigorous multi-phase selection process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, independent evaluation of candidates by the attorney-led research staff, a peer review of candidates by practice area, and a good-standing and disciplinary check. Being included on the lists is an honor reserved for those lawyers who exhibit excellence in practice. Only 5 percent of attorneys in Missouri and Kansas are selected to the Super Lawyers®list.
