Thomas D. Peebles, Jr. and Clifford S. Brown Speak at a Missouri Bar Seminar
Springfield, Mo. – Thomas D. Peebles, Jr. and Clifford S. Brown, both Shareholders of Carnahan, Evans, Cantwell & Brown, P.C. (CECB”), made presentations at The Missouri Bar’s “Annual Estate & Trust Institute” Seminar on September 17, 2004. Mr. Peebles and Mr. Brown discussed the new Missouri Uniform Trust Code and how its changes will impact estate planning, trust administration, and fiduciary litigation in Missouri. Messrs. Peebles and Brown were invited to speak by The Missouri Bar for their expertise as well as their knowledge of the new trust law.
Mr. Peebles, a frequent speaker on estate planning topics, is the author of several publications, including “Estate Planning Practice – The Fundamentals,” and the Chapter on “Miscellaneous Estate Planning Techniques” in the Missouri Bar Estate Planning Deskbook.
Mr. Brown, who is listed in Who’s Who in American Law, as well as The Best Lawyers in America, was recently appointed by the Supreme Court to the Board of Law Examiners. He has frequently served as an educator and speaker on behalf of The Missouri Bar, as well as the Supreme Court of the State of Missouri, and the University of Missouri – Columbia School of Law, and other organizations in providing continuing legal education to members of the legal profession.
